A good traditional small bakery.
I wanted two koulouri and a spanakopita, but because I arrived late (after 9am) there was only one koulouri and I settled for a very nice tiropeta.
But that koulouri!
Oh my goodness. I've not had a twisted one before, so maybe that makes some weird difference, but this was the best koulouri I've had, full stop. Really. Soft, light, tasty.
Fantastic provisions for my walk up into the hills today. I'll have to get here early next time!
EDIT:
Up at a decent time this morning, and had two normal ring koulouri (so what's the twisted one, exactly?) and a really delicious spanakopita. Added bonus of coming early is seeing more of the life of the bakery - crates of loaves waiting to be picked up, and people kneading dough.- Wait time

What a hidden gem. My partner found this and it was definitely a highlight of our holiday. A village bakery, with fantastic baked good, friendly staff and authentic atmosphere. The staff were so kind to show our children where the bread is made. Highly recommend a visit here!

Schön, dass es noch solche kleinen Bäckereien auf dem Dorf gibt. Etwas schwierig zu finden. Die letzten paar Meter muss man zu Fuß gehen. Besonders das etwas dunklere runde Brot schmeckt super. Gebacken nach alter Tradition.

It's nice that there are still small bakeries like this in the village. A bit difficult to find. You have to walk the last few meters. The slightly darker round bread tastes particularly great. Baked according to old traditions.
